Social, Ethical and Sustainable Practices

Firstly, our textiles are made from natural fibers which is, 100% cotton and therfore, has zero stretch. Our brand follows a 'zero-waste' culture whereby, all left over pieces and scraps of fabric are upcycled to make hair accessories, bags and patchwork. There is no room for waste. This ensures that we are not adding to polluting landfills. We are a 'Slow Fashion' brand and therefore, every purchase is 100% handcrafted steeped in a culture of creativity and sustainability that gives back to the community.

We are an ethical brand that gives back with each and every purchase. 5% of every sale goes to Educational Development in Ghana. We dedicate this brand to more than just clothes, we want to give back to the community in as many ways as possible.

We source and hand-pick all our fabrics from local markets by local traders (often women) to help develop small-scale wholesellers and the African textile industry. Instead of producing here in Ireland, we pay fair wages to the local seamstresses in Kokrobite to help empower and grow their buisnesses and improve their livelihoods. Therefore, we support local production and materials. By paying fair wages, creating employment and making a meaningful difference in the Ghanian community, we hope to build an increased power to positively contribute to the society.
